The final phase of God's judgment during the last three and a half years begins. Seven angels with seven vials or bowls of God's wrath come out of the temple to complete God's judgment on the earth. The commandment is given to pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. The first vial is poured out on the earth and it causes foul and painful sores to everyone who had the mark of the beast. The sores are still there in Verse 11 (the fifth vial), which indicates that these sores never go away.
